Harvard Way Red Elm
![]() |
These pens and bowls were handcrafted from the series of Red elm trees (Ulmus rubra) that stand in front of Morgan Hall on the iconic Harvard Way at the Harvard Business School. Morgan Hall was made possible by George F. Baker and is named in honor of his good friend and iconic figure in US business, John Pierpont Morgan. Morgan Hall was completed in 1927 and now primarily serves as officies for the faculty. This elm branch was trimmed December 2013 to ensure the health and beauty of the canopy on Harvard Way.
